Junk in the Trunk

Proverbs 4:23 calls us to guard our heart above all else, because everything we do flows from it. Many of us carry baggage from family of origin, temperament, and unhealthy conflict styles so long that we forget it is there, until it crashes into our relationships. Guarding the heart means opening the trunk honestly and inviting God to sort through what we have been carrying.
