Don’t Give Your Leftovers

Revelation 2:4-5 records Jesus telling a hardworking, doctrinally sound church that they had forsaken their first love. Too often we give our best to what matters least and our leftovers to what matters most, replacing passion with procedure. Jesus' remedy is to remember, repent, and do the things we did at first, reordering our energy so God and the people closest to us get our best rather than our scraps.
