One More Chance

I Am the Least

Judges 6:14-16 has Gideon hand God a résumé—weakest clan, least in his family, two levels of nobody—and God doesn't argue with a single item on the list. He never says "you're selling yourself short"; the list was probably accurate. His answer isn't "you're enough," it's "I will be with you"—like a couch that doesn't get lighter when someone grabs the other end, but "we're moving this" becomes true. God didn't shrink the assignment to match Gideon's confidence; only the company changed. Your weakness doesn't disqualify you—it creates room for his strength.
