Sand, Sheep, and Silence
September 1, 2026
Exodus 3:1-3 catches Moses in year forty of the same routine: walk the sheep, find water, do it again tomorrow. God shows up not in a cathedral or at a conference but on the commute, in the middle of the ordinary. The bush was burning before Moses ever turned aside to look. The invitation is to pay attention to what God may already be doing in the parts of life that feel unremarkable.

What Needs to Go
September 1, 2026
Hebrews 12:1-2 says throw off everything that hinders—and notice it names two things, not one: the sin that entangles *and* the weight, the stuff that isn't wrong but fills your hands and slows you down, like trying to carry every grocery bag in one trip. The real question isn't your friend's life but yours: if God revived your heart, what would actually change? And this isn't God taking things from you—it's Him clearing your hands so you can run, because holy isn't a heavier life, it's a lighter one.

Made on Purpose
September 1, 2026
Psalm 139:13-14 uses the exact word *knit*—God carefully made you stitch by stitch, on purpose, like someone looping yarn one careful loop at a time into something warm and just right. You're not an accident; you're a handmade masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made. God didn't want another copy of someone else—He wanted the one and only you. Your true identity isn't what others say about you, it's what God says: you are wonderful, and He should know, because He made you.
