From Somebody to Nobody

August 31, 2026

Exodus 2:11-15 finds Moses trying to solve a God-sized problem with a man-sized solution, and losing everything in the process. He goes from palace prince to fugitive shepherd, sitting alone by a well in a land where nobody knows his name. But the desert wasn't punishment; it was preparation. The palace made him educated and the wilderness made him humble, and humility rather than credentials is what qualifies a person to be used by God.

Every Room

August 31, 2026

1 Peter 1:14-16 catches how most of us surrender to God the way you hand someone your phone to show one picture—you didn't mean to give them the whole thing. But "be holy in all you do" means all, and holiness isn't perfection; it's an ownership question—every room of your life belonging to God. There's always one room you'd rather keep shut, and He isn't asking you to fix it first. He's asking for the keys.

Nowhere You Can Go Alone

August 31, 2026

Psalm 139:7-10 is David playing a thinking game: is there anywhere I could go where God isn't there? Way up in the sky, way down in the deep, all the way across the ocean—God is already there, waiting. Unlike hide and seek, where being found ends the game, being found by God is the best part. He never wants you to be alone, so wherever you walk this week, He's holding your hand even when you can't feel it.
