What God Sees

September 9, 2026

Acts 5:3-4 confronts the illusion that we can hide from God. Ananias lied to Peter, but Peter names the deeper truth: he lied to God, who sees behind every mask and closed door. What we cover, God uncovers; what we uncover, God covers. The offering God actually wants is not our money or our resume, but our honesty.

Then I Will Hear

September 9, 2026

2 Chronicles 7:13-15 has God open on the best week of Solomon's life by naming the dry seasons ahead—not *if* the heavens shut, but *when*—so the flat stretch you're in doesn't surprise him. His promise is aimed at "my people," and it asks for a posture, not a program: humble yourself, pray, seek his face (want him, not just what he can arrange), and turn. And notice the order—he hears, then forgives, then heals what you can see last, so dry never meant distant.

What the Sky Is Saying

September 9, 2026

Romans 1:19-20 says you don't need words on a page to know a painter made a painting—you just know, and the world is like that. God left his fingerprints all over creation: a sunset, a snowflake, the way your knee heals itself. When something amazes you outside, that's your heart hearing God say, "I made this—and I made you too."
