Windshield and Rearview

Philippians 3:13-14 captures Paul's decision to forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead. Like a car with a massive windshield and a tiny rearview mirror, our lives were designed for the road in front of us, not the one behind. The past is worth a quick glance to learn from, but it was never meant to drive, and the invitation is to stop staring backward and press on toward the future God has planned.
