Living Water

John 4:13-14 "Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

Think

Sometimes our day can be filled with so many tasks that the day flies by. Before we know it, it's 5 pm, and the water bottle that we planned to drink throughout the day is still sitting there full.

How can we so easily forget to do something that benefits us, like drinking water, even when it's within arm's reach? When Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman, she had no idea that the living water was right in front of her and that it would satisfy every thirst she had.

Once she realized that Jesus had more to offer than water, she experienced a transformation in her life. Are you thirsty? Are you experiencing a life of fullness and satisfaction even when life throws you curve balls and unexpected challenges?

That same transformation that the woman at the well experienced 1000s of years ago is available for us today. If you're a believer, always remember that the living water flows through you and that God provides every bit of refreshing you need. If you're new to faith or still trying to figure things out, know that God will meet you right where you are and can bring an unmatched thirst-quencher through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Act

God, thank You for meeting me right where I am today. I trust You and know that You have a plan and purpose just for me. Help me thirst for You daily, and be mindful of placing You as my priority.

Write down how God has re-energized your day in the past. It could be a message you heard on Sunday or discernment through a challenging situation. If you seek God, know that He will meet you right where you are.
