John 3:16, “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life.”

Think

Most people don’t like to hear, “Houston, we have a problem.” Why? Problems have a negative connotation. They’re an annoying distraction that requires too much work to solve, so we tend to avoid them. Unfortunately, avoidance snowballs and only creates more problems! With each new dilemma, we have a choice. We can view it as an opportunity to creatively generate new, life-giving solutions or we can duck our heads and eventually collapse under the weight of compounded problems.Aren’t you glad that God did not see humanity’s sin problem and hope that it would just go away? No, He saw the problem and solved it by sending His only Son to die on the cross for our sins and rise from the grave to conquer death. God satisfied the demands of His holiness and offers eternal life to everyone who calls on the name of Jesus Christ. That’s creativity!Creativity is problem-solving. Do you have a dilemma? Keep your head up and see it as a God-given opportunity to generate new ideas. Follow God’s example and ask Him to help you solve it!

Act

What is the greatest problem in your life at this very moment? Ask God to enlarge your creativity by giving you specific ideas to solve the problem. As the ideas come, write them down. Take the best ideas and put them to work.

Pray

Dear God, Today I will stop avoiding my problem. Please enlarge my creativity and give me ideas to solve it. I thank You in advance for the ideas You bring to mind. Help me to choose the best solution. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
