Child Dedication

A Commitment Before God & The Church

Child Dedication is a parent’s commitment before God and the church, to teach and train their child in the ways of the Lord and his word. As a church, we commit to partner with and support you and your child as they begin & grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Yes! Child dedication signifies the commitment of parents, to do their best to raise their child to love and know Jesus. As a church, we are committed to supporting single parents in providing a Christian foundation for their child’s life.

What age can they be dedicated?

Dedication is for children birth - 6 years of age. After age 6 we encourage you and your child to attend our Kids Baptism Class.

What is the difference between child dedication & baptism?

Fellowship Church believes baptism is for those who have made a personal decision to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus when the person recognizes and understands their sinfulness and receives Jesus’ forgiveness.
