Your Calm Changes Everything
The first week of school matters more than you think.
New classroom. New teachers. New routine.
There’s excitement—but also uncertainty.
And in this stage, your role is huge.
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Start children off on the way they should go…”
That starts now.
Here’s how to lead well in week one:
- Create Simple, Predictable Rhythms: Morning routine. Bedtime routine. Consistency creates security.
- Speak Confidence Into Them: “You can do this.” “God is with you.” Your words shape how they walk into school.
- Stay Calm Through the Emotions: There may be tears. That’s okay. Your calm presence helps them regulate theirs.
Parent Application:
👉 Each morning this week, tell your child:
“God is with you, and you’re going to do great today.”
Repeat it daily.
Because confidence is built through consistency.
