Back-to-School Without the Stress: Peace Over Pressure
Back-to-school season can feel like a sprint. Supplies. Schedules. Forms. Drop-offs. Pick-ups. And just like that, your relaxed summer pace is gone and the pressure builds fast.
But Scripture reminds us: Be strong and courageous... for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). That includes the school year. You don't have to enter this season overwhelmed — you can enter it with peace, because peace isn't found in perfect circumstances; it's found in trusting God in the middle of them. Here's how to start the school year without the stress.
Prepare Early, Not Perfectly
You don't have to get everything right. Just get a few key things ready — bedtimes, mornings, basic routines.
Set the Emotional Tone
Your kids take their cues from you. If you're anxious, they'll feel it. If you're calm, they'll follow it.
Pray Over the School Year
Don't just organize — spiritualize. Invite God into this season from the start.
Before the first day of school, pray this over your child: "God, go before them, guide them, and give them confidence." Simple prayer, powerful impact — because peace starts with perspective.
