Mighty Warrior

Hebrews 11:32-34 lists Gideon among those whose weakness was turned to strength — though he was cowering in a winepress when God called him 'mighty warrior.' He answered with excuses about his weak clan, but God's only reply was, 'I will be with you.' Then God shrank the army to three hundred so the victory could belong to Him alone. The invitation is to park your excuses, because His presence is the only qualification you need.

John 1:40-42 teaches us through Andrew that bringing someone to Jesus does not require a perfect strategy—just a willingness to share what we have found and invite them to come. We cannot see who someone may become in Jesus’ hands, so instead of deciding who is likely to respond, we can faithfully bring people to Him as they are.

John 15:9-10 teaches us that Jesus loves us with the deep, perfect love of the Father and invites us to remain in that love. As we follow His ways, we stay close to Him, trusting that His commands lead us deeper into the safety and goodness of His love.
