What’s in Your Hand?

September 5, 2026

In Exodus 4:1-5 and 10-12, God doesn't ask Moses what he wishes he had. He asks what Moses is already holding, and the answer is an ordinary shepherd's staff. Thrown down and surrendered, that piece of wood becomes an instrument of God's authority. When Moses protests that he is slow of speech, God points back to the One who made his mouth. It was never about ability; it's about availability.

Two or Three

September 5, 2026

Matthew 18:19-20 promises Jesus shows up when two or three gather in His name—not because bigger groups get more of God, but because something is different when it's not just you. You'll skip a workout alone but not when someone's waiting; prayer is the first thing you drop by yourself and the last thing you drop with a friend. So the whole assignment is simple: find one person, make it stupidly simple, and send the text today—because two students praying at a school is exactly what Acts 1 looked like before Acts 2.

A Cup That Overflows

September 5, 2026

Matthew 5:16 closes the week with a picture: an empty cup can't pour anything out, but a full one can't help overflowing. All week God filled your cup with truth—you're known, made on purpose, deeply loved—so a kid that full has kindness to spare and doesn't fall apart when someone's mean. Your good deeds are just your full cup spilling over, pointing people to the One who fills you.
