The FC Rapid Response Team

Fellowship Church’s Rapid Response Team is always in a state of readiness with willing hands and open hearts. The team is made up of volunteers professionally trained in rescue services by organizations such as the Red Cross. These teams are comprised of medical personnel, construction experts, food preparation teams, and many more.

This team has deployed to areas devastated by natural disasters such as the DFW tornadoes of 2012, New Orleans, LA, Galveston, TX and Joplin, MO, as well as in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Often the immediate response transitions into long-term care. Such an example is in Haiti where we have recently served over 2 million meals to orphans through a collaborative effort of churches since the 2010 earthquake. We have continued daily to provide nutrition, education, and life transformation to over 2,000 children. The Rapid Response Team is all about showing the love of Jesus to people in need.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Matthew 25:40 (NIV)
