Fellowship Church

Homeschool Network

Introduction

What is Fellowship Church Homeschool Network (FCHN)?

A ministry that focuses on supporting families who are educating their children at home.

Open to both members and non-members of the church, we offer Christ–centered activities for students and parents alike. FCHN is committed to serve as an outreach to the community of homeschoolers by:

  • Supporting each other in an endeavor to educate our children in an atmosphere that would bring honor and glory to God.
  • Helping parents who are considering homeschooling to make an informed decision.
  • Encouraging spiritual, educational and personal growth.
  • Facilitating social and educational activities for homeschooled children.
  • Building Godly relationships with parents and students.
  • Helping parents maintain and stimulate their student's desire to learn and explore.

Teen Time

Teen Time is an opportunity for students 5th grade–high school to come together and connect with other like–minded homeschoolers, while supporting the social and spiritual needs of our teens in a safe setting. Scheduled at least once a month, Teen Time is comprised of supervised "hang out" time, creative interaction and a spiritual focus. This Teen Time refreshes, energizes and encourages, while reinforcing the godly character and values being taught at home.

Throughout the year, Teen Time provides several community service opportunities to spiritually enrich our teens—allowing them to grow deeper as Christians, as well as appreciate their many blessings. Several field trips are hosted by FCHN and are designed to supplement the educational courses teens may be studying at home.
