Creativity has been around from the very beginning. Genesis 1:1 tells us that the heavens and earth as we know them are a result of creativity: God’s creativity. We also know from the Genesis account that God created man in His own image (Genesis 1:27).

It’s amazing to know that we have a God that just by the power of His words spoke the universe and mankind into existence! It’s clear from Scripture that creativity coupled with the power of God is a force like no other. As Ed Young says, “You have been created in the image of your creative Creator.” You are a “Creative.” Your various gifts and talents have been given to you by God for a purpose—so you can reflect and communicate the timeless message of Christ and His love for the world. That is your purpose. That is your calling. Fellowship Creative—this collection of creatives—is for anyone who is passionate about using their creativity to reflect and communicate Christ’s love and plan for the world.

Whether in the areas of music, video, art, design, writing, photography, video editing, marketing or production, Fellowship Creative is a place for creative thinkers and artists to build relationships, grow in creativity, and develop resources to build the local Church and expand the Kingdom of God.

Whether you are from Miami or from one of our many campuses here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I can’t wait to see what God is going to do through this collection! Our hope is that this House, this team, will inspire, equip and empower you to be all that God has created you to be as a “Creative.” Imagine a global team of creatives empowered by the Creator, united with one cause to change the world with the message of Christ.

Fellowship Creative Nights

Fellowship Creative Nights is designed to unite all creative volunteers together for corporate worship and to grow as a community each month. This is an experience that will begin a momentum in YOU to take FC Creative’s REACH further than ever before! These nights consist of Connecting/Community, Vision, Worship & Training. God has brought all of us together to do something brand new in the future like never before through FC. FC Story

Stories are meant to be told. Great stories do not correlate to the strength of the plot, but heavily rely on the way the story is communicated. That is our job! We are the story tellers! Through FC creative stories, we will dive into the art of story telling through the venues of video, writing, web, and marketing.

Music

Band
The band is a dynamic volunteer team within Fellowship Creative. In addition to bringing energy to the weekend experience, we are apt to build a community of musicians, artists, and songwriters alike united around the cause of Jesus Christ.

If you are interested in serving in the band, please complete the volunteer application and background check and send it to aaron.weits@fellowshipchurch.com. While that information is processing, we can schedule an audition time for you, and get you involved in Fellowship Creative!

Vocals
Thank you for expressing an interest in serving in FC Vocals! The Creative team is designed to provide Fellowship Church members a place to serve using their God-given talents and to assist in creatively communicating the life-changing message of Christ.

FC Vocals is a vital part of Fellowship Creative. We meet and rehearse every Thursday and join the worship team on stage most weekends.

In regards to expectations in serving in this area of ministry:

• We require you attend our weekly Thursday night rehearsal from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
  Please know we understand you have events you must attend at times and all we ask is that you let us know if you will miss rehearsal.
• We ask that you sing a minimum of 2 weekends a month, 2 services per weekend. If you wish to sing at more services you are more than welcome.

Vocal Auditions are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 4:00-5:30pm in the Grapevine Chapel. If you are interested in auditioning, please complete the application and background check and return it to Janice Cruse by email or fax at your earliest convenience. At the vocal audition, please have two songs memorized and ready to sing. Please provide a background track CD for the first and be prepared to sing the second song acappella. Your song selections may be chosen from any music style or genre that you feel best represents your talents, but we need one of them to be a worship song.

Again auditions will be Wednesday between 4:00-5:30pm. We audition in order of arrival. Once we have your volunteer application, you will receive an email or call confirming your audition for that day. We look forward to hearing from you and getting you involved!

Dance
Dance is an art form that opens hearts and communicates a message in a compelling and creative way. The dance team is open to beginner and professional dancers who are passionate about using their talents to express Fellowship Church’s vision. Live Production

Creating environments where people can experience God’s love is what the Live Production team is all about. The lights, sound, stage and video all come together to help point people towards Jesus. It takes an amazing team of people each and every week behind the scenes to make it all happen. It does not matter whether you are a highly technical individual or if you are a willing to learn beginner. You can play a vital part in the Live Production team.

One of the greatest avenues for capturing the story, the vision and the essence of Fellowship Church is through photography. Build Team
Do you love working with your hands and power tools to construct a creative environment? How about designing and dreaming of new set pieces and stage props?
